Chronic Pain

Is Often Silent

In 2012 chronic pain flipped my life upside down. I spent the year battling pain, multiple incorrect diagnosis, doctors not believing me and finally a correct diagnosis of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome – simply put it felt like the muscles in my sides, chest and throat were tearing me apart. My early 20’s were turning out very different than I had anticipated as I prepared for years of surgeries and rehabilitation. My first surgery was a right rib removal in 2014, followed by my left rib in 2015. 2 years later was the scar tissue and left pec minor release. The pain meds and antibiotics caused complications and I was eventually diagnosed with Epstein Barr Virus and an undefined chronic infection throughout my body. I had my last surgery in 2020 and the road to recovery continues. All of this is not to shock you, or catch your eye. It is simply to show the size of the Goliath I face daily. It has been daunting, terrifying, painful and still I fight, falling more and more in love with my healing journey and the power I have when I take charge of my life.

I refused to take a back seat in my process becoming a Certified Holistic Nutritionist at The Energetic Health Institute and obtained a Personal Training Certification. This was after I got my BA degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara. I needed to understand how I could not only help myself but also other people going through something similar. A few ways I help others are through creating personalized step by step paths with your unique version of balance, aiding in finding the source of pain through lab testing and food elimination and supporting and guiding you through detoxification and supplementation. As I continue learning I will offer whatever I have found to be most impactful. Chronic pain is often silent and invisible, but I want you to know I believe you. You are not alone, and there is a way through.

My methods are many and I am constantly on the hunt for new natural remedies for chronic ailments.

Youtube and books have become a constant source to feed my curiosity about the human body, chronic conditions and finding solutions to combat pain. A few things that have made a major impact for me have been medicinal herbs, supportive community, fresh clean food, meditation, yoga, infrared sauna, and helping others on their own journey with chronic pain. A decade later and it finally feels like I’m firmly on the path towards vibrant healing and movement. I am grateful, curious, and ready to do whatever it takes for me to feel free and fully alive. My purpose in creating this space is to build a platform for those who struggle daily, and help in any way I can through my years of experience, schooling, trial and error. If you resonate with my story, if you have gone through your own hero’s journey of relentless pain, if you are unsure of the next step in your healing, if you need a place free of judgment or explanation, this space is for you.

“ I support clients in achieving total well-being by helping them understand the entirety of who they are as people - not just what's happening inside our bodies on an anatomical level but how we interact with ourselves emotionally and environmentally too. ”
